Valley Shine is a 6 piece indie folk band from Los Angeles, CA whose influences include roots rock, americana and indie pop. The lineup came together when Kentucky girl, Jenna Blake, and California mountain man, Sam Sobelman met by chance through Instagram in 2014. The two songwriters spent much of that year commuting between Los Angeles and Orange County to collaborate and develop their unique folk pop sound. Eventually, guitarist Myke Wilken, violinist Kaitlin Wolfberg, bassist Stewart James and drummer Tim Carman rounded out the roster.

Valley Shine is an ensemble as diverse as the patchwork of folk perfection they weave together with each member of the band contributing to their signature 5-part vocal harmony. Having been together for a short time, the indie darlings have quickly made a name for themselves with their well-crafted folk pop and electric live performance. Their debut EP, LOCA, produced by Max Allyn, was released in the Fall of 2015 and received enthusiastic reviews by notable music blogs such as Baeble Music and BuzzBands. The band is currently due to release their new single "Home Away" co-written and produced by Andrew Heringer (Milo Greene) on November 18th.
